How do I use Lace and Cake?

Enter the basic criteria you need your perfect wedding reception venue to have…
Do you need somewhere with an on-site ceremony site AND on-site accommodation? Do you dream of arriving by chopper? Does your dog HAVE to walk you down the aisle? Do you need somewhere that stays open late? Press ‘Match me’ and see your perfect venues appear.

If you need to narrow down your results further – use the Refine Search Bar to make your decision a little easier.

Once you’ve got a shortlist of your ultimate venues, click the ‘Book Viewing’ button to arrange a time to visit each venue.

If you think somewhere might be right, but you need some more info – click the ‘Have Questions?’ button and we’ll get the answers you need to decide if it’s the venue for you.

How much does it cost to use Lace and Cake?

It’s totally free for couples to use. We’ve want to make finding THE venue as easy as possible for you! If you can’t find a venue or would like any extra information, just contact us & our wedding elves will get the answers you need! We’re also happy to help you schedule & book in your viewings. 

Why does Lace and Cake exist?! 

We want to save you TIME! My name is Sarah and I started Lace and Cake to make it easier for brides to find their perfect Hunter Valley wedding venue. When planning my own Hunter Valley wedding I was frustrated with how much time and effort I wasted looking up venues and emailing them, only to find that they didn’t meet even my basic criteria like guest numbers or budget. Plus, there wasn’t one site I could go to that listed all venues, so I was worried I might be missing my perfect venue!

By putting venue information in one spot both brides and venues will be able to connect more quickly and more meaningfully. Brides can contact the venues which are the best matches for them. Venues get the chance to tell brides about all of the amazing little details that set them apart from the rest.
