Wollombi Barnstay is pleased to be able to offer our property for weddings and receptions. The options are endless and only limited to your imagination to ensure the country wedding of your dreams; formal, casual, vintage, a marquee or Bedouin tent. Wollombi Barnstay is the perfect venue for those who are looking for a classic country wedding.
Set on a beautiful 100 acres, the property has been meticulously designed and landscaped with over 2000 trees to create a beautiful parkland which will keep getting better and better with age.
There are a number of locations for marquee (or natural tip styled tents) and wedding ceremonies and we will be happy to walk you around the property to discuss what you are after and make appopriate suggestions where we can. While the couple is responsible for organising all aspects, we work closely with each couple to make sure everything runs smoothly as possible and the property is looking at its best.

The Barnstay provides the perfect backdrop and blank canvas for couples looking for a relaxed wedding.
This is a great venue for brides who are looking for a laid back country wedding with on-site accommodation and ceremony locations. If you are creative and want to design all aspects of the day, this could be the venue for you!
Late finish time is another feature of this venue – music needs to be turned down from 1AM but otherwise there are no finish time restrictions.
The Barnstay offers a free third night of accommodation either before or after your big day.
External catering is required, and Wollombi Barnstay is happy to provide recommendations of vendors who they have worked with before.
Our property is booked out on an exclusive basis with you and your guests enjoying the use of the property and its facilities.
The property itself is 100 acres with approximaely 25 acres of manicured grounds. To book the property for a wedding /reception, we charge:
A flat fee of $3750 plus a per person charge of $15 for guests > 25
The fee includes:
Accommodation for up to 25 people for 2 nights

What to organise
Whether you are organising the wedding yourself or have decided to engage a little help from a planner, there are a few things, in addition to the usual suspects of marquee – catering – fabulous decorations – awesome band, couples will also need to supply;
We have no supplier affiliations but can provide a list of suggestions to help you in your planning. We can also arrange for a wedding stylist to help should you require it.

There are some benches which can be used for guest seating at the ceremony.

The barn has been designed to cater for large groups of friends and families who want a farmstay or country stay expereince where one can just relax and be together. Single night bookings are available for mid-week weddings.
We offer a third night of accommodation free for up to 10 guests either before or after your big day for weekend weddings.

Our Accommodation at a glance

The accommodation is a combination of double beds and bunk beds over 4 large bedrooms and two lofts, sleeping a maximum of 26 people. All linen is supplied although we ask that Guests bring their own towels for the shower. Each bedroom contains a column heater and water bottles.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas oven, microwave and fridge with all essential kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery provided. We will be looking to install a new kitchen in the near future and will keep everybody informed via our Facebook page as well as our ‘News’ section.
There is a large dining table and lounge with fan forced combustion fireplace, dart board, stereo, books and magazines to sit back and relax. Wood is provided for guests and if you are arriving late in winter we will endeavour to have the fire lit for your arrival.
Upstairs is another chill out zone with flat screen TV monitor, DVD player and a small supply of both adult and children’s DVD’s and videos. You will also find plenty of children’s games and puzzles for a wide range of ages and a wide of outdoor sporting equipment such as bats, balls, badminton racquets, volleyballs and footballs.
The bathroom complex comprises of three separate showers and toilets.
Outdoors, we have a wide range of facilities for guests to enjoy. The deck is spacious, measuring 6m by 8m with a long dining table large enough to seat 24 people. We also have a wine barrel esky which we encourage guests to use to house all their drinks as it keeps everything cold for weeks. Just bring ice (which can also be bought from town 3km away). It also means that there is more room left in the fridge for food. A large 5 burner gas BBQ is available to cook up a storm with additional outdoor seating under the plane tree for 20 people. This area also has an outdoor tac-tac-toe board as well outdoor chess table.
